How to Donate
To ensure full compliance with Wisconsin campaign finance laws, the campaign for Door County Sheriff adheres to all contribution requirements and reporting standards.
While we are not actively soliciting campaign donations, we understand that some supporters may wish to contribute. To simplify campaign reporting, we respectfully request that any contributions be made on or after June 1, 2026.
Contribution Limits
The maximum contribution allowed from an individual is $600 per election cycle.
Preferred Method of Contribution
Contributions by check are strongly encouraged after June 1, 2026. Checks should be made payable to the campaign committee and must include the contributor’s full name, address, and occupation as required by law. Contributions may be mailed to P.O. Box 23, Brussels, WI 54204.
Important Contribution Rules
The campaign may not accept:
- Anonymous contributions in excess of $10
- Cash contributions in excess of $100
- Contributions made in the name of another individual
- Contributions from corporations, associations, labor organizations, or federally recognized American Indian Tribes
- Contributions that exceed legal limits
- Contributions from foreign nationals
All contributions must comply with Wisconsin campaign finance laws. Contributions that do not meet these requirements will be returned.
